Bander
Make several pieces of local media behave like one instrument.
Bander runs entirely in the browser and turns simultaneous media into something you can play, arrange, and orchestrate instead of merely watch.
- WORKS WITH:
- Desktop Chromium-family browsers; some mobile Chromium browsers also work, but orchestration support varies by browser and device.
- START HERE:
- run Bander and add your local media.
- FIRST RUN:
- browser-only; your media stays on your device.
- OUTPUT:
- playable local-media arrangement with browser-native export.
- LICENSING TERMS:
- Bander project licensing applies, including its no-charge independent-creator commercial permission. Use rights depend on the applicable Bander release; no paid software license is required.
Questions about the Toys
Choose a Toy, try it, and find the terms or help you need. Bander has its own detailed FAQ.
01What is a TEKWITCH Toy?
A working tool, not just a description: Bander is a browser instrument, the DBC is a local Windows script, and the others include Markdown tools you use with an LLM.
02Which Toy do I want?
Bander makes video and audio behave like one instrument. Device Baseline Collector (DBC) collects a computer's important facts. Revision Drift Auditor finds what got lost between drafts. LLM System Capability Review tests what an LLM system can do. Parallax helps you see a problem differently.
03Do I need AI?
Not necessarily. Bander works without AI for ordinary editing; its music analysis is optional. The DBC needs no AI. The other current Toys use an LLM. The relationship label on each Toy tells you what to expect.
04How do I start?
Use START HERE on the Toy's receipt. Bander opens in your browser, the DBC runs through Windows PowerShell, and the Markdown Toys start by attaching the file to an LLM conversation and asking “What is this?” The receipt also names the expected output.
05Will it work with my device or model?
Bander depends on your browser's media support. The DBC uses Windows PowerShell. Markdown Toys depend on the abilities of the LLM system you use. Check the Toy's FIRST RUN notes and, where supplied, its test evidence; a tested setup is not a guarantee for every device or model.
06Where do my files go?
Bander processes your media locally; its first-party app doesn't upload your source files to TEKWITCH. The DBC collects a local device record. Material you attach to an LLM is handled by that LLM service under its own rules. Check before sharing sensitive files.
07Are the Toys free to use for work?
Current covered use requires no software purchase, including ordinary paid or client work under the applicable permissions. Bander has separate terms for eligible independent creators. Publishing your own results is not the same as reselling, redistributing, or embedding a Toy.
08Where do I get help or report a problem?
For a useful report, include the Toy and version, your browser or LLM host, what you tried, and what happened—without sharing secrets. Ask in TEKWITCH's live Twitch room, or use WORK for an asynchronous stable-Toy question. Experimental Bander questions belong in live chat.
Device Baseline Collector
Get the important facts about a computer into one transferable record.
The facts that matter tend to be scattered across settings, firmware screens, labels, utilities, and memory. The DBC gathers a bounded read-only baseline without changing the machine.
- WORKS WITH:
- Windows computers with Windows PowerShell.
- START HERE:
- download the file, open Windows PowerShell, paste in the file’s contents, and press Enter.
- FIRST RUN:
- read-only collection; changes no system or firmware settings.
- OUTPUT:
- one transferable device-baseline ZIP.
- BOUNDARIES:
- Read-only collection; changes no system or firmware settings.
- LICENSING TERMS:
- No-charge personal and commercial use for individuals and organizations, including paid client work and commercial outputs, across covered releases. Redistribution, embedding and customer-facing hosting need separate permission.
Revision Drift Auditor
A revision can be prettier and still be wrong.
Use it when an AI-assisted revision starts sanding off the brief: ignored constraints, regressions, lost intent, and generic “improvements” that make the work less correct.
WORKED EXAMPLE · FROM THE AUDITOR
Keep the comparison table, the concise factual tone, and the existing structure. No marketing language.
Comparison table removed; promotional wording added. Other structure retained.
- FAILRequired comparison table removed
- FAILFactual tone replaced by promotional language
- PASSRemaining structure preserved
NEXT PASSRestore the table and concise factual language. Preserve the structure that survived.
- WORKS WITH:
- LLM chat that can read the Markdown Toy and keep the original brief plus revision in context.
- START HERE:
- attach the file and ask your AI “What is this?”
- FIRST RUN:
- have the original brief and revision in context.
- OUTPUT:
- drift findings plus bounded next-pass instructions.
- REFERENCE:
- The original brief remains the standard the revision is checked against.
- LICENSING TERMS:
- No-charge personal and commercial use for individuals and organizations, including paid client work and commercial outputs, across covered releases. Redistribution, embedding and customer-facing hosting need separate permission.
LLM System Capability Review
Find out what an LLM system can actually do, then keep the evidence.
Capability claims are cheap. This review finds what the system can actually use, tests the useful parts, and leaves a reusable baseline so you don't have to figure it all out again later.
- WORKS WITH:
- ChatGPT · Claude (previously tested); other compatible general-purpose LLM hosts may also work.
Compatibility evidence
Minimum host requirement: A conversational or agentic LLM-based system that can read Markdown and execute multi-step operations.
- ChatGPT — GPT-5.6 SolTested Sep 29, 2026 using v0.7.1: Completed baseline review; verified file ingestion, capability probes, and a reusable baseline artifact.
- Claude — Sonnet 5.5Tested Sep 29, 2026 using v0.7.1: Baseline checkpoint artifact created; the broader review was still in progress.
These are dated observations from the earlier Toy release, not guarantees for every current model or host. The current v1.0.0 package has not been retested against these configurations.
- START HERE:
- attach the file and ask your AI “What is this?”
- FIRST RUN:
- A full first review may take several substantial turns; it checkpoints so you can stop and resume.
- OUTPUT:
- A reusable capability baseline carrying the collector needed to interpret, resume, or refresh it.
- BOUNDARIES:
- Specialized generators that cannot read and execute the Toy are not compatible direct hosts.
- LICENSING TERMS:
- No-charge personal and commercial use for individuals and organizations, including paid client work and commercial outputs, across covered releases. Redistribution, embedding and customer-facing hosting need separate permission.
Parallax
Look at the same thing from somewhere else.
Parallax is a reusable way to test whether an answer changes when the frame moves, without throwing away what is already known.
- WORKS WITH:
- LLM chat that can read the Markdown Toy and use the current conversation context.
- START HERE:
- attach the file and ask your AI “What is this?”
- FIRST RUN:
- works from the current context; advisory by default.
- OUTPUT:
- reframed analysis plus concrete implications.
- BOUNDARIES:
- Advisory by default; changes the frame without discarding established context.
- LICENSING TERMS:
- No-charge personal and commercial use for individuals and organizations, including paid client work and commercial outputs, across covered releases. Redistribution, embedding and customer-facing hosting need separate permission.
